Cody Aplaon vs Nemesio Tineo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Imperial Palace Hotel, Quezon City,  taking place on 08/06/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cody Aplaon (18(11) - 1 - 1) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Nemesio Tineo(14 - 9(2) - 1) from San Jose del Monte, Philippines.  Aplaon weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces, while Tineo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Macasieb, and the three ringside judges are Larenzo Benito, Lisandro Tinajero and Mark Camargo.  

Round 1: 

Aplaon gets on the inside.  Tineo throws a right hook, but Aplaon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Aplaon pushes his forearm into Tineo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Aplaon.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aplaon dabs at his face checking for damage.

Aplaon lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.

Aplaon is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Aplaon DETONATES a big right hook on his opponents face.  TINEO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Tineo has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Aplaon stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Aplaon EXPLODES a spiteful right hook into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES TINEO!  He manages to get up at 9.
