Saad Khalaf vs Amjad Qazi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Azam Malick Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 25/05/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saad Khalaf (25(2) - 6(1) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Amjad Qazi(6 - 10 - 3) from Dubai, UAE.  Khalaf weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces, while Qazi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ali Ayub, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Rahaim, Tariq Kamara and Khalid Barkett.  

Round 1: 

Khalaf digs in a left hook to Qazi's body.

Khalaf is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Khalaf holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Khalaf pushes his forearm into Qazi's face.  The ref breaks Khalaf's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Khalaf's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Qazi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Qazi's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Qazi lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Khalaf is on target with a jab.

Khalaf hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Khalaf about fouling.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Qazi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Khalaf pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a weighty left hook to his opponents ribs.  QAZI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Qazi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  Qazi almost instantly recovers.
