Guillermo Aragona vs Santiago Anchondo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 12/05/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Guillermo Aragona (8 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Santiago Anchondo(16 - 4(2) - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Aragona weighed in at 224 pounds And 3 ounces, while Anchondo weighed in at 257 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Manuel Borromeo, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Lovato, Tadzio Karp and Neron Munoz.  

Round 1: 

Anchondo closes the distance.  Aragona hits home with a left hook.  
Aragona is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Anchondo tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Anchondo steps inside and forces Aragona to back into the ropes.  Aragona connects with a right hook.  
Anchondo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Aragona pivots to the left of his opponent.  Aragona throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Anchondo lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Aragona switches the action to the outside.  Aragona stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Anchondo strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Anchondo throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aragona pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Anchondo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Anchondo closes the distance.  Aragona pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  As Aragona tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
