Jesus Benavente vs Alejandro Tabares

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Jose Sanchez Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 01/04/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jesus Benavente (9 - 6 - 4) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Alejandro Tabares(11 - 10(1) - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Benavente and Tabares weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Mar, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Leiva, Miguel Ruis and Rico Ricardo.  

Round 1: 

Benavente throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Tabares time to recover.
