Santiago Manzano vs Orlando Gardin

Boxing Daily Report from the Kirya Promotions promoted show at Ciudad Guayana Villeda, Ciudad Guayana,  taking place on 01/03/2032:

Clearly Kirya Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Bolivar Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Manzano (2 - 8 - 1) who hails from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela and Orlando Gardin(15(6) - 1(1) - 1) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Both Manzano and Gardin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Malagon, and the three ringside judges are Diego Juan, Loredo Chirinos and Saturnin Busto.  

Round 1: 

Gardin steps to the outside and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Gardin hits home with a cross.  
Gardin steps inside.  Gardin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gardin lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Manzano lands an overhand left.  
Gardin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Manzano almost instantly recovers. 
Gardin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gardin advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gardin lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gardin lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gardin throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gardin is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Gardin closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS MANZANO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Gardin advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Gardin hits home with a left hook.  As Manzano tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gardin has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Gardin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gardin connects with a stinging right hook.  
Gardin steps away from his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Gardin is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Manzano steps away from his opponent.  Gardin hits home with a sharp jab.  
Gardin advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Gardin advances into close range and connects with a sharp left hook.  Gardin holds on to his opponent.  Gardin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Manzano behind the head. Gardin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gardin about fouling.

Gardin snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Gardin lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gardin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Gardin waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Manzano hits home with a cross.  
Gardin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Gardin is looking to close the distance and forces Manzano to retreat onto the ropes.  Gardin drives a potent left hook into his opponents ribs.  MANZANO IS HURT!  
Gardin tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gardin thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Manzano away.  Gardin crashes a spiteful left hook to Manzano's body.  DOWN GOES MANZANO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.

Manzano could be stopped here, if Gardin can find the right shot!  Gardin lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND MANZANO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Manzano has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Gardin closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Gardin closes the distance.  Manzano pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gardin lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Gardin walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gardin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS MANZANO!  The ref does not give Manzano the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Gardin!
