Sam Balakshin vs Oliver Dubow

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 11/02/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Balakshin (15(9) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Oliver Dubow(2 - 3 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Balakshin and Dubow weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Lobban, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Curto, Darryl Elliot and Ricky Christeson.  

Round 1:

Balakshin hits home with a right uppercut.  Balakshin clinches his opponent.  Balakshin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Balakshin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Balakshin manouvers Dubow into a neutral corner.  Balakshin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Balakshin lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Balakshin is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Balakshin dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Balakshin.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
