Boxing Daily Report from the AI Austria-Vienna promoted show at Vienna Pilibbos, Vienna,  taking place on 24/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Austria Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Animal Adlar Van (15(11) - 0) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Geoff Makaschwili(10 - 7(2) - 3) from Vienna, Austria.  Both Van and Makaschwili weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Armand Ari, and the three ringside judges are Lotario Farmer, Raimundo Laurvig and Blaz Rauchfu.  

Round 1: 

Van tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Van lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Makaschwili is looking to keep his distance.  Van lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Makaschwili recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Van stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Makaschwili tries to land a jab, but Van sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Makaschwili's body.  
Van is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Van steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Van is on target with an overhand right.  
Van hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Van feints a right, and then hits home with a solid cross.  
Van hits home with a cross.  
Makaschwili forces Van to back into the ropes.  Van lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Van steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Van lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Van finds the target with a jab.  
Van feints a cross, and then lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Van tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Van lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Van lands a cross to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Makaschwili tries to step out of his opponents range.  Van lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Makaschwili recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Van steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Van closes the distance and lands a spiteful left hook.  MAKASCHWILI IS HURT!  Van holds on to his opponent.  Van pushes his forearm into Makaschwili's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Van.  Makaschwili quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Makaschwili's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Makaschwili's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Makaschwili's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
