Franco Salmeron vs Bradley Espiritu

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Webster Hall, New York City,  taking place on 27/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Salmeron (9(5) - 2 - 1) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Bradley Espiritu(10 - 11 - 4) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Salmeron and Espiritu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Bowman, and the three ringside judges are Dom Kilgour, Kieran Lyons and Clint Brydon.  

Round 1: 

Salmeron tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Salmeron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Salmeron is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Salmeron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Salmeron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Espiritu gets on the inside.  Salmeron is on target with a left hook to Espiritu's ribs.  
Espiritu walks Salmeron down, trapping him on the ropes.  Salmeron lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Espiritu closes the distance.  Salmeron is on target with a right hook to Espiritu's ribs.

Espiritu closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Salmeron slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Espiritu's liver.  
Espiritu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Espiritu attempts to land an overhand right, but Salmeron blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Espiritu's body.
