Selestino Cavazos vs Gus Capistran

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Webster Hall, New York City,  taking place on 27/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Selestino Cavazos (8(3) - 1) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Gus Capistran(6 - 3 - 2) from Phoenix, USA.  Cavazos weighed in at 126 pounds, while Capistran weighed in at 124 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Bowman, and the three ringside judges are Clint Brydon, Kieran Lyons and Dom Kilgour.  

Round 1: 

Capistran manouvers Cavazos onto the ropes.  Cavazos is on target with a cross.  
Cavazos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Capistran is looking to close the distance.  Cavazos is on target with a right hook.  Cavazos ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cavazos pushes his forearm into Capistran's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cavazos is looking to keep his distance and lands two overhand rights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cavazos lands a jab.  
Cavazos drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Cavazos throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Capistran advances into close range.  Cavazos is on target with a left hook to Capistran's ribs.  
Cavazos tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cavazos lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Capistran advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Cavazos hits home with a left hook.  Cavazos clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cavazos pushes his forearm into Capistran's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cavazos.  
Cavazos lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Cavazos is looking to keep his distance.  Cavazos feints a cross and triggers a left hook counter from Capistran.  Cavazos avoids the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Capistran cuts off the ring, trapping Cavazos on the ropes.  Cavazos tries to land a cross, but Capistran sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cavazos lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Cavazos clinches his opponent.  Capistran leans on his opponent using all his weight. Capistran uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cavazos behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Capistran's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Capistran's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Capistran's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Cavazos!
