Alfonso Lagunas vs Santiago Montalvo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Universidad Nacional Experimental de Guayana, Ciudad Guayana,  taking place on 19/12/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Venezuela-Bolivar Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Lagunas (10(7) - 0) who hails from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela and Santiago Montalvo(13 - 12(1) - 1) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Both Lagunas and Montalvo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Labrada, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Borrego, Vegas Lino and Joaquin Abrigo.  

Round 1: 

Lagunas lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lagunas advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Montalvo could be stopped here, if Lagunas can find the right shot!  Lagunas lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, KNOCKING MONTALVO DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Montalvo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Lagunas closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Montalvo's liver.  Lagunas ties up his opponent.  Lagunas pushes his forearm into Montalvo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lagunas.  
Lagunas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Montalvo's body.  
Lagunas gets on the inside and slams a spiteful left uppercut into his opponents body.  MONTALVO IS HURT!  Montalvo quickly recovers. 
Lagunas crashes a hurtful left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MONTALVO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Lagunas holds on to his opponent.  Lagunas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lagunas is looking to force the stoppage!  Lagunas whips in a hurtful left hook to Montalvo's body.  MONTALVO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Lagunas manages to force Montalvo into the blue corner.  Lagunas lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND MONTALVO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Montalvo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Montalvo throws a right hook, but Lagunas ties up his opponent.  Lagunas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lagunas lands a jab.  
Lagunas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lagunas steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, DROPPING MONTALVO TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lagunas!
