Ellis Halden vs Dave Rankine

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Sheraton Grand Nashville, Nashville,  taking place on 13/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Halden (10 - 0) who hails from Nashville, USA and Dave Rankine(6 - 16 - 5) from Nashville, USA.  Halden weighed in at 147 pounds, while Rankine weighed in at 147 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Rankine came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is James Nickson, and the three ringside judges are John Cranston, Leighton Parry and Alen Williams.
