Desiderio Manso vs Santiago Limas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Catalonia promoted show at Barcelona Monje, Barcelona,  taking place on 31/08/2031:

Clearly AI Spain-Catalonia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Catalonia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Manso (22(3) - 2) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Santiago Limas(11 - 9 - 2) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Manso and Limas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Verano, and the three ringside judges are Franco Morales, Diego Barrantes and Elias Moreton.  

Round 1: 

Manso gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left hook to Limas's body.  
Limas throws a left hook, but Manso holds on to his opponent.  Manso is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Manso.

Manso advances into close range.  Manso quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Manso throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Manso holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Manso pushes his forearm into Limas's face.  The referee warns Manso and breaks the clinch.

Manso is on target with a right hook.  Manso ties up his opponent.  Manso tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Limas behind the head. Manso leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Manso uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Limas's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Manso lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Manso is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Manso steps inside.  Manso pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Manso steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Manso closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Limas's body.  
Manso lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Limas steps to the outside.  Manso lands an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Limas's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Limas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Limas's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Manso lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS LIMAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.
