Owen Merrick vs Bart Kitchings

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Louisville Orton, Louisville,  taking place on 11/09/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Merrick (24(6) - 10(1) - 1) who hails from Lexington, USA and Bart Kitchings(7 - 12(1) - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Merrick weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces, while Kitchings weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Hatt, and the three ringside judges are Roger Crombie, Euan Slone and Matthew Hatt.  

Round 1:

Merrick wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kitchings.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
