Angel Feliz vs Frisco Rapoza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Distrito Federal promoted show at Brasilia Borges, Brasilia,  taking place on 13/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Distrito Federal Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Feliz (23(4) - 1) who hails from Brasilia, Brazil and Frisco Rapoza(30 - 8(1) - 5) from Brasilia, Brazil.  Feliz weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while Rapoza weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Caldas, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Pedroso, Miguel Belo and Ovidio Pinho.  

Round 1: 

Rapoza closes the distance.  Feliz pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.

Feliz lands a jab, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Feliz lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Feliz leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Rapoza accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Feliz.  
Feliz steps inside.  Rapoza attempts to land a right hook, but Feliz sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Feliz closes the distance.  Rapoza throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Feliz lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Feliz hits home with a solid cross.

Feliz is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Feliz holds on to his opponent.  Feliz uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Rapoza's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Feliz lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Feliz tries to land a jab, but Rapoza dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Feliz gets on the inside and is on target with a HUGE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAPOZA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rapoza almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Feliz lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Feliz holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rapoza pushes his forearm into Feliz's face.  The referee warns Rapoza and breaks the clinch.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Feliz dabs at his face checking for damage.  Feliz has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Feliz lands a right hook.  
Rapoza attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Feliz's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Rapoza pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rapoza throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Feliz lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Feliz lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Rapoza could be stopped here, if Feliz can find the right shot!  Feliz lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES RAPOZA!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Feliz!
