Rico Marcos vs Edmundo Morillo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Zulia promoted show at Maracaibo Pantoja, Maracaibo,  taking place on 31/08/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Marcos (11 - 15(3) - 3) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Edmundo Morillo(22(2) - 5 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Marcos and Morillo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Herrero, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Soriano, Pablo Hinojos and Juan Matias.  

Round 1: 

Morillo closes the distance.  Marcos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Morillo lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.
