Quiqui Diaz vs Santiago Resendiz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lambayeque promoted show at Elias Pelayo Gym, Chiclayo,  taking place on 01/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quiqui Diaz (13 - 9(3) - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Santiago Resendiz(13(3) - 8(2)) from Chiclayo, Peru.  Both Diaz and Resendiz weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Rana, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Arena, Juan Remedios and Diego Obregon.  

Round 1: 

Resendiz is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging right uppercut to Diaz's body.
