Toma Ahmadieff vs Alik Sagatow

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kazakhstan-Karagandy promoted show at Ivan Otaroff Gym, Karagandy,  taking place on 21/08/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kazakhstan-Karagandy Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Toma Ahmadieff (18 - 8 - 5) who hails from Karagandy, Kazakhstan and Alik Sagatow(12 - 3 - 5) from Karagandy, Kazakhstan.  Both Ahmadieff and Sagatow weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gennady Oralow, and the three ringside judges are Dmitri Urstembaeff, Malik Nigmatullin and Georgiy Kazackpaew.  

Round 1: 

Ahmadieff is on target with a jab.  
Sagatow is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.

Sagatow gets on the inside.  Ahmadieff connects with a left hook.  
Sagatow advances into close range and walks Ahmadieff down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sagatow wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ahmadieff has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Ahmadieff pushes his forearm into Sagatow's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ahmadieff to stop fouling.
