Peter Muya vs Dillon Gwako

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Nairobi City Stadium, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/09/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Muya (6(2) - 1) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Dillon Gwako(10 - 12(1) - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Muya weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces, while Gwako weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Andersson, and the three ringside judges are Manu Yator, Duncan Wakihuri and Noah Odoyo.  

Round 1: 

Muya is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Muya clinches his opponent.  Muya pushes his forearm into Gwako's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Muya closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Muya clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Muya pushes his forearm into Gwako's face.  The referee warns Muya and breaks the clinch.  
Muya lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Gwako throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Muya clinches his opponent.  Muya is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gwako tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Muya behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gwako is looking to keep his distance.  Muya lands with a ramrod jab.  
Muya manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Muya connects with a left uppercut.  
Muya lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Muya holds on to his opponent.  Muya pushes his forearm into Gwako's face.  The ref breaks Muya's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Muya lands a stinging jab.  
Muya gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Muya hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Muya steps inside and lands a firm right hook.  
Gwako switches the action to the outside.  Muya lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Muya closes the distance.  Muya sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Muya advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook.  Muya throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gwako is looking to keep his distance.  Muya lands a solid cross.  
Muya closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Muya digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Muya closes the distance.  Gwako throws a left uppercut, but Muya clinches his opponent.  Muya throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Muya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Muya advances into close range.  Muya sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Muya lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Muya ties up his opponent.  Muya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Muya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Muya to stop fouling.  
Muya advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Muya gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Muya lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Gwako throws a right hook, but Muya ties up his opponent.  Muya pushes his forearm into Gwako's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Muya to stop fouling.

Muya is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Muya dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gwako lands a cross.  
Gwako steps to the outside.  Muya lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Muya connects with a stinging cross.  
Muya advances into close range and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Muya ties up his opponent.  Muya uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gwako behind the head. 
Muya hits home with a right hook.  
Muya walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Muya lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Muya is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Muya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Muya connects with a cross.  
Muya gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Muya lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Muya lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Round 3: 

Muya lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Muya lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Muya holds on to his opponent.  Muya leans on his opponent using all his weight. Muya hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Gwako pushes his forearm into Muya's face.  The referee warns Gwako and breaks the clinch.  
Muya lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Muya lands a left hook.  
Muya walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Muya drives a telling right hook into Gwako's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GWAKO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Muya lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS GWAKO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Gwako now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Gwako steps to the outside.  Muya lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Muya steps inside and walks Gwako onto the ropes.  Muya is on target with a sharp right hook to Gwako's ribcage.  
Muya is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gwako tries to keep the action at long range.  Muya lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Muya advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.

Muya lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Muya ties up his opponent.  Muya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Muya pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gwako quickly recovers.

Muya lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gwako recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Muya lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Muya steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Muya is looking to close the distance.  Muya lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Gwako wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Muya dabs at his face checking for damage.
