Noel Agyeman vs Zach Poku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Bariagher, Kumasi,  taking place on 14/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noel Agyeman (15 - 8 - 3) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Zach Poku(21(5) - 6(2)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Agyeman and Poku weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tamarius Ankomah, and the three ringside judges are Nwa Agbee, Ubanwa Akrofi and James Ampomah.  

Round 1: 

Agyeman attempts to land a jab, but Poku dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Poku is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Poku tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Poku pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND SENDS AGYEMAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Agyeman lands a cross.  
Poku closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Poku sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Poku drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Poku throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Poku digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Poku clinches his opponent.  Poku is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Poku to stop fouling.  
Poku manouvers Agyeman into the blue corner.  Poku lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Poku advances into close range.  Poku pivots to the right of his opponent.  Poku tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Agyeman switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Poku sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Poku thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Agyeman away.  Poku lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, DROPPING AGYEMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Poku gets on the inside.  Poku drives a weighty left hook into Agyeman's body.  AGYEMAN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Agyeman switches the action to the outside.  Poku whips in a mean left uppercut to Agyeman's body.  AGYEMAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Agyeman has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Poku steps inside and digs in a sharp right uppercut to Agyeman's ribcage.  
Agyeman is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Poku lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Poku lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Poku lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Poku ties up his opponent.  Poku is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Agyeman's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Agyeman's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Poku lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Poku drives a stinging right hook into Agyeman's ribcage.  
Agyeman steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Poku is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Poku steps inside.  Poku quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Poku lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Poku closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Agyeman in a corner.  Poku drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Poku drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Poku hits the target with a stiff jab.

Poku is looking to close the distance.  As Poku tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Agyeman dabs at his face checking for damage.

Poku lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING AGYEMAN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Agyeman almost instantly recovers.

He beats the count, getting up at 8.  The ref takes a good look at Agyeman's eyes.  The ref is waving the fight off...he doesnt think Agyeman is fit to continue!  The winner by TKO is Poku!
