Paco Armendariz vs Vicente Bailon

Boxing Daily Report from the Barry Scott Promotions promoted show at Guatemala City Salcedo, Guatemala City,  taking place on 19/01/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guatemala-Guatemala Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paco Armendariz (14 - 3) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Vicente Bailon(17 - 12(2) - 1) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Both Armendariz and Bailon weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Palma, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Mosco, Fausto Loya and Angel Milanes.

Bailon hits home with a stinging jab.  
Bailon is on target with a left hook.  
Armendariz finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Armendariz steps away from his opponent.  Bailon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm cross.  
Bailon gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
