Floyd Cassidy vs Majid Asmar

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Boston Binner, Boston,  taking place on 30/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Floyd Cassidy (18(1) - 4(1)) who hails from Boston, USA and Majid Asmar(13 - 7 - 1) from Worcester, USA.  Both Cassidy and Asmar weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Noble, and the three ringside judges are Richard Gwenn, Fred Reese and Kyle Ormiston.  

Round 1: 

Cassidy voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Asmar tries to tag Cassidy on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Cassidy is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents liver.

Cassidy lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Cassidy senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Asmar and just needs the right shot.  Cassidy lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, DROPPING ASMAR TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.
