Asavela Motupa vs Cody Kanku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at South Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 30/06/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asavela Motupa (15 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Pretoria, South Africa and Cody Kanku(14 - 2 - 3) from Soweto, South Africa.  Motupa weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kanku weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tokelo Motupa, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Strydom, Kyan Majola and Kofi Kpesebaan.
