Robert Leap vs Dom Axtell

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at Ian Simrell Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 26/06/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Leap (3 - 6) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Dom Axtell(12 - 7 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Leap and Axtell weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Rease, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Beynon, Ellis Raharuhi and James Woodburn.  

Round 1: 

Axtell manages to force Leap into a neutral corner.  Axtell connects with a left hook.  
Axtell manages to force Leap onto the ropes.  Axtell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Axtell closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Leap tries to land a left hook, but Axtell sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Leap tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Axtell walks Leap down, trapping him in the corner.  Axtell pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Leap's liver.  
Leap closes the distance.  Axtell drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Axtell steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Leap throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Axtell to the neutral corner.  He warns Leap that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.  
Axtell pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Axtell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.

Leap throws a left hook, but Axtell clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Axtell pushes his forearm into Leap's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Axtell about fouling.  
Axtell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
