Jerrold Ceja vs Dimos Valera

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rican Boxing promoted show at Fiesta Latina Centro Comercial, San Jose,  taking place on 13/05/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jerrold Ceja (2(1) - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Dimos Valera(11 - 7 - 2) from Magangue, Colombia.  Both Ceja and Valera weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Javier Gallo, and the three ringside judges are Luis Seta, Loredo Mesquita and Tadzio Karp.  

Round 1: 

Ceja closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ceja hits home with a sharp cross.  
Ceja advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ceja holds on to his opponent.  Ceja pushes his forearm into Valera's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ceja to stop fouling.  Valera almost instantly recovers. 
Ceja lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Valera almost instantly recovers. 
Ceja steps inside.  Ceja hits home with a sharp left hook.  Ceja holds on to his opponent.  Ceja leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Valera pushes his forearm into Ceja's face.  The ref breaks Ceja's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Valera has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .  
Ceja is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ceja clinches his opponent.  Ceja leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Valera almost instantly recovers. 
Ceja drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Ceja is on target with a sharp right hook to Valera's body.  
Ceja forces Valera to retreat into the red corner.  Ceja lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Ceja lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  It looks like Valera has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ceja sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ceja lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ceja clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ceja pushes his forearm into Valera's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ceja slams a mean right hook into Valera's ribcage.  VALERA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Valera has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ceja is looking to close the distance and manages to force Valera onto the ropes.  Ceja is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ceja is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Ceja slams a hurtful right hook into Valera's body.  VALERA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Valera recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ceja lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Ceja holds on to his opponent.  Ceja leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ceja tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Valera's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ceja to stop fouling.  
Ceja lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Ceja stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ceja slams a big left hook into his opponents ribs.  VALERA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Ceja lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES VALERA!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ceja!
