Denton McCleary vs John McQuistion

Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Ian McAllister Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/01/2029:

Clearly Mandale Boxing Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denton McCleary (4 - 5) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and John McQuistion(11 - 8 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  McCleary weighed in at 147 pounds, while McQuistion weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arran Forbes, and the three ringside judges are Arran Ritchey, Leeroy Nicolaides and Dale Holland.

McCleary strikes his opponents body with a jab.

As McCleary tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McQuistion.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
