Kolzak Demchuk vs Ken McDonald

Boxing Daily Report from the Kings promoted show at Brixton Academy, London,  taking place on 03/02/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Kolzak Demchuk (5(3) - 0) who hails from Odessa, Ukraine and Ken McDonald(16 - 9(3) - 3) from London, UK.  Both Demchuk and McDonald weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Skeen, and the three ringside judges are James Antonelli, Clinton Lawless and John Gaddis.  

Round 1: 

McDonald closes the distance.  Demchuk pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Demchuk steps to the outside.  McDonald attempts to land a jab, but Demchuk blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
McDonald steps inside and walks Demchuk down, trapping him in a corner.  Demchuk lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
McDonald closes the distance.  Demchuk pivots to the right of his opponent.  Demchuk lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Demchuk clinches his opponent.  Demchuk pushes his forearm into McDonald's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Demchuk about fouling.  
McDonald throws a left hook, but Demchuk holds on to his opponent.  Demchuk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McDonald lands a right hook.  
Demchuk advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Demchuk clinches his opponent.  Demchuk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. McDonald throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Demchuk closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Demchuk is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Demchuk walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Demchuk feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Demchuk steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Demchuk gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
McDonald digs in a right hook to Demchuk's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McDonald's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  McDonald's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McDonald's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Demchuk lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McDonald quickly recovers. 
Demchuk steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Demchuk steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Demchuk lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Demchuk pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Demchuk pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
McDonald advances into close range.  Demchuk pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Demchuk lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
McDonald manages to force Demchuk onto the ropes.  McDonald tries to land a left hook, but Demchuk dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

McDonald quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Demchuk hits the target with a stinging jab.

Demchuk pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a VICIOUS left hook.  MCDONALD HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MCDONALD CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Demchuk!
