Paul McGrath vs Ian MacTaggart

Boxing Daily Report from the United Boxing promoted show at Bradford Ice Arena, Bradford,  taking place on 08/12/2028:

Clearly United Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Paul McGrath (5 - 0) who hails from Doncaster, UK and Ian MacTaggart(2 - 2 - 1) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both McGrath and MacTaggart weighed in at 129 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Connor McGowan, and the three ringside judges are Glynn James, Timothy Yates and Dale Watkins.  

Round 1: 

McGrath lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacTaggart steps away from his opponent.  McGrath lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McGrath steps inside and forces MacTaggart to retreat onto the ropes.  McGrath lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
MacTaggart pivots to the left of his opponent.  McGrath lands a cross.  
MacTaggart sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
MacTaggart tries to keep the action at long range.  McGrath lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacTaggart is on target with a left hook to McGrath's body.  
McGrath lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  McGrath clinches his opponent.  McGrath is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McGrath about fouling.  
McGrath lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
McGrath hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  McGrath clinches his opponent.  McGrath pushes his forearm into MacTaggart's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McGrath to stop fouling.  
McGrath throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  McGrath holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks McGrath's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McGrath pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McGrath dabs at his face checking for damage.  
MacTaggart pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to McGrath's body.  
MacTaggart pivots to the right of his opponent.  McGrath is on target with a cross.  
McGrath hits home with a left uppercut.  
McGrath advances into close range.  McGrath sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  As MacTaggart tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McGrath dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacTaggart's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

McGrath is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  McGrath holds on to his opponent.  McGrath leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McGrath advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.  McGrath clinches his opponent.  McGrath tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits MacTaggart behind the head. The referee warns McGrath and breaks the clinch.

MacTaggart throws a left hook, but McGrath holds on to his opponent.  McGrath leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McGrath lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
