John Strom vs Phil Whitton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Wisconsin promoted show at Helfaer Field, Milwaukee,  taking place on 22/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Illinois Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Strom (16 - 9(1) - 5) who hails from Chicago, USA and Phil Whitton(6 - 4 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Both Strom and Whitton weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Littlejohn, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Farris, Sean Picard and Davie Humphreys.

Strom steps inside.  As Whitton tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strom dabs at his face checking for damage.  Strom has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
