Macario Tesoro vs Aimon Matias

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu Promotions promoted show at Medellin Sainz, Medellin,  taking place on 05/08/2028:

Clearly Ofosu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Tesoro (21(19) - 0) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Aimon Matias(5 - 2 - 1) from Bello, Colombia.  Tesoro weighed in at 236 pounds And 13 ounces, while Matias weighed in at 254 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Loria, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Montesano, Marco Alegre and Carlos Betancur.  

Round 1:

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Matias's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Matias's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Tesoro lands a WICKED cross.  MATIAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Tesoro stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Tesoro lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Tesoro connects with a HUGE right uppercut.  DOWN GOES MATIAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Matias has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Matias manouvers Tesoro onto the ropes.  Matias throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a spiteful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MATIAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Matias now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Tesoro is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Matias sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Matias tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Matias steps inside.  Tesoro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Matias throws a right hook, but Tesoro holds on to his opponent.  Tesoro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Tesoro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tesoro steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Matias gets on the inside.  Tesoro lands a right uppercut.  Tesoro holds on to his opponent.  Tesoro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tesoro.  
Matias steps inside.  Tesoro connects with a left hook.  Tesoro ties up his opponent.  Tesoro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tesoro tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a hard jab.  
Tesoro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Tesoro lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Tesoro connects with a cross.  
Tesoro feints a left hook, and then connects with a firm cross.  
Matias is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Matias connects with a right uppercut.  Tesoro ties up his opponent.  Tesoro tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Matias's kidney. Matias is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tesoro lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  
Tesoro pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tesoro is on target with a jab.  Tesoro throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tesoro switches the action to the outside and connects with a CRUSHING cross.  MATIAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Tesoro could be enough to finish Matias!  Tesoro lands a left hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND MATIAS IS DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Tesoro!
