Daniel Lawman vs Richie Nevitt

Boxing Daily Report from the Bareebe Promotions promoted show at Wichita Mortland, Wichita,  taking place on 01/07/2028:

Clearly Bareebe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniel Lawman (18(9) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Richie Nevitt(8 - 5 - 1) from Lancaster, USA.  Lawman weighed in at 200 pounds, while Nevitt weighed in at 199 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Davie Whitted, and the three ringside judges are David Edmison, David Edmison and Michael Hoy.  

Round 1: 

Lawman throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Lawman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lawman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lawman cuts off the ring, trapping Nevitt in the blue corner.  Lawman hits home with a stinging right hook.  Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Lawman pushes his forearm into Nevitt's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lawman.  
Nevitt steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Lawman is whaling away with hooks, but Nevitt keeps his defence tight.  
Lawman is looking to close the distance.  Nevitt throws a right hook, but Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Nevitt leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lawman tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nevitt behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lawman lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lawman steps inside.  Nevitt throws a left hook, but Lawman holds on to his opponent.  Lawman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Lawman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lawman connects with a stinging cross.  
Lawman is looking to close the distance.  Nevitt attempts to land a left hook, but Lawman blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Lawman is on target with a right hook to Nevitt's body.  
Lawman pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lawman hits home with a stinging right hook.  Lawman throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lawman to stop holding.  As Lawman tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nevitt dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lawman closes the distance and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Lawman clinches his opponent.  Lawman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lawman to stop holding.  
Lawman gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Lawman gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  Lawman attempts to land a left hook, but Nevitt blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Lawman's body.

Lawman closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Lawman throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nevitt drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Lawman lands a straight 1 - 2.  Lawman tries to land a right uppercut, but Nevitt dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Lawman SLAMS a VICIOUS cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE NEVITT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Lawman attempts to land a jab, but Nevitt slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
The right shot from Lawman could be enough to force the stoppage!  Lawman lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND DROPS NEVITT!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lawman!
