Krist Mechelen vs Radboud Laurin

Boxing Daily Report from the Abdulyan Promotions promoted show at The Hague Van Haelst, The Hague,  taking place on 27/05/2028:

Clearly Abdulyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands-South Holland Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Krist Mechelen (12 - 7(1) - 6) who hails from The Hague, Netherlands and Radboud Laurin(5 - 19 - 1) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Both Mechelen and Laurin weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Feel Adriaenssens, and the three ringside judges are Eddie Mane, Wissel Van der Visscherye and Ysaije Ridtsaert.  

Round 1: 

Laurin gets on the inside.  Mechelen pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Laurin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mechelen finds the target with a jab.  
Mechelen hits home with a right hook.  
Mechelen cuts off the ring, trapping Laurin in the blue corner.  Mechelen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Laurin is on target with a left hook to Mechelen's liver.

Mechelen steps inside and digs in a right hook to Laurin's body.

Mechelen leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Laurin is whaling away with hooks, but Mechelen keeps his defence tight.
