Boxing Daily Report from the Tuffuor Promotions promoted show at Tuffuor Gym, Cali,  taking place on 27/11/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Mirando (20(18) - 1) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Leonel Barraza(9 - 8 - 3) from Bogota, Colombia.  Mirando weighed in at 112 pounds, while Barraza weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Miguel Luz, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Gordon, Carlos Arabia and Nicandro Esquivel.  

Round 1:

Barraza walks Mirando down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mirando lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Mirando steps away from his opponent.  Mirando feints a right hook, and then connects with a sharp cross.

Barraza steps inside.  Mirando lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Mirando holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mirando pushes his forearm into Barraza's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mirando steps away from his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Mirando pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mirando lands a solid jab.  Mirando attempts to land a right hook, but Barraza sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Barraza advances into close range.  Mirando lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mirando ties up his opponent.  Mirando pushes his forearm into Barraza's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mirando to stop fouling.  
Mirando steps away from his opponent.  Mirando is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Mirando lands a MASSIVE left hook.  BARRAZA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Barraza now seems to have his senses back.  
Mirando hits home with a stinging jab.  
Mirando SLAMS a spiteful left hook into his opponents face.  BARRAZA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Mirando!
