Santiago Caram vs Antonio Carrasco

Boxing Daily Report from the Chibawe Promotions promoted show at Guido Salamanca Gym, Maracay,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Caram (6 - 13 - 4) who hails from Turmero, Venezuela and Antonio Carrasco(8 - 6 - 5) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Caram weighed in at 108 pounds, while Carrasco weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montel Barabas, and the three ringside judges are Angel Hermida, Montel Verdin and Urvano Moscoso.

Carrasco closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Caram.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
