Jonathan McCrary vs Euan Berry

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 25/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan McCrary (8 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Euan Berry(6 - 0 - 1) from Townsville, Australia.  Both McCrary and Berry weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Wark, and the three ringside judges are Mark Taggert, Giorgio Lombardo and Sammy Feamster.  

Round 1: 

Berry hits home with a left hook.  
Berry lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McCrary throws a right hook, but Berry holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Berry pushes his forearm into McCrary's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Berry drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Berry lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Berry digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Berry closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Berry holds on to his opponent.  Berry pushes his forearm into McCrary's face.  The ref breaks Berry's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCrary throws a left hook, but Berry ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Berry pushes his forearm into McCrary's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Berry.  
Berry is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Berry clinches his opponent.  Berry tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McCrary's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Berry steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

McCrary switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
