Rashid Sadiq vs Marques Bakabulindi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Nsimbi, Lira,  taking place on 01/02/2027:

Clearly AI Uganda-Northern Region have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Northern Region Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rashid Sadiq (9 - 10 - 3) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Marques Bakabulindi(6 - 1 - 4) from Lira, Uganda.  Sadiq weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while Bakabulindi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Pbitek, and the three ringside judges are Keshawn Drito, Uland Msuya and Chata Kabonero.
