Kudret Ozyakup vs Tolga Orbay

Boxing Daily Report from the Nabighyan Promotions promoted show at Altan Gonul Gym, Izmir,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

Clearly Nabighyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kudret Ozyakup (7 - 0) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Tolga Orbay(7 - 6 - 3) from Izmir, Turkey.  Ozyakup weighed in at 140 pounds, while Orbay weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Suleyman Topaloglu, and the three ringside judges are Alp Denizli, Adem Sozen and Devrim Agca.  

Round 1: 

Ozyakup advances into close range.  Ozyakup quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Orbay's body.
