Boxing Daily Report from the Brisbane World Boxing Championships 2039,  taking place on 10/09/2039 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 16 fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fo-hsing Moong (64(7) - 8(1)) who hails from Kunming, China and Montel Ras(31(1) - 25) from La Plata, Argentina.  

Round 1:

Ras tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Moong pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ras switches the action to the outside.  Ras sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Moong closes the distance.  Moong sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Ras is on target with a left uppercut to Moong's body.  
Moong drives a firm left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Moong manouvers Ras into a corner.  Moong drives a firm right hook into Ras's body.  
Moong is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Moong clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Moong pushes his forearm into Ras's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ras pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Moong advances into close range.  Moong sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ras throws a left hook, but Moong holds on to his opponent.  Ras uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Moong's kidney. Moong is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Moong about fouling.

Moong manages to force Ras onto the ropes.  Moong throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Moong lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Moong ties up his opponent.  Moong tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ras behind the head. Ras leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Moong's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
