Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2039,  taking place on 14/04/2039 from Carolina, Puerto Rico:

The Carolina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jesus Jarquin (19(3) - 10) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Noe Velarde(33 - 20) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Jarquin lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Jarquin clinches his opponent.  Jarquin pushes his forearm into Velarde's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Velarde recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Velarde sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Velarde attempts to land a jab, but Jarquin sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jarquin closes the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  
Jarquin lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Jarquin digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jarquin advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Jarquin clinches his opponent.  Jarquin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Velarde behind the head. Velarde is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jarquin lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Velarde almost instantly recovers.
