Omer Shimshek vs Yavuz Arikan

Boxing Daily Report from the Turkey National Finals 2038,  taking place on 02/05/2038 from Izmir, Turkey:

The Izmir venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Omer Shimshek (19 - 12) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Yavuz Arikan(25(9) - 20) from Ankara, Turkey.  

Round 1: 

Shimshek steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Shimshek lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Arikan closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Arikan throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Arikan ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Arikan pushes his forearm into Shimshek's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Arikan.  
Arikan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Arikan lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Arikan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Arikan lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS SHIMSHEK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Shimshek now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Shimshek lands a jab.  Shimshek throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Arikan is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Shimshek in the corner.  Arikan hits home with a sharp right hook.

Arikan is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.

Shimshek steps to the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Arikan advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
