Amon Crear vs Hugh Sherriff

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2038,  taking place on 29/03/2038 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Amon Crear (25 - 26) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Hugh Sherriff(3 - 0) from New Amsterdam, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Sherriff closes the distance.  Crear throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Crear throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Crear steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Sherriff hits home with a left hook.

Crear is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Crear quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sherriff tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Crear lands with a ramrod jab.

Crear lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.

Crear feints a cross, fooling Sherriff into throwing a right hook counter.  Crear springs the trap, countering with  a stinging left uppercut.  
Sherriff attempts to land a cross, but Crear slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Sherriff advances into close range and forces Crear to retreat onto the ropes.  Sherriff is on target with a left hook.  
Sherriff sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Sherriff steps inside.  Crear lands a left hook.  
Sherriff pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sherriff throws a right hook, but Crear holds on to his opponent.  Sherriff is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Sherriff advances into close range.  Sherriff pivots to the right of his opponent.  Crear throws a left uppercut, but is off-target.  Crear holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Crear pushes his forearm into Sherriff's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Crear is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.

Crear switches the action to the outside.  Crear feints a jab, fooling Sherriff into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Crear springs the trap, countering with  a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sherriff closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Crear sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Crear lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sherriff manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Crear is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Sherriff steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Crear slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sherriff lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sherriff gets on the inside.  Sherriff sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Crear attempts to land a left hook, but Sherriff slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
