Boxing Daily Report from the Jordan National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/03/2038 from Russeifa, Jordan:

The Russeifa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Irfan Barkett (14 - 17) who hails from Al-Quwaysimah, Jordan and Obaid Abdou(14 - 14) from Zarqa, Jordan.  

Round 1:

Abdou lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Barkett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barkett throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abdou's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
