The Jodhpur venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Asif Mahdi (78(10) - 28) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Randeep Shettar(7 - 3(1)) from Mumbai, India.

Mahdi advances into close range.  Shettar drives a right hook into Mahdi's ribs.  Mahdi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mahdi pushes his forearm into Shettar's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Mahdi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Shettar lands a solid right hook.  
Shettar lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Shettar tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand right, but Mahdi parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shettar lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mahdi closes the distance.  Shettar hits home with a left hook.

Mahdi gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Mahdi holds on to his opponent.  Mahdi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shettar hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Mahdi gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Mahdi digs in a left uppercut to Shettar's body.  
Mahdi walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mahdi lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Mahdi clinches his opponent. Mahdi lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Mahdi senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Mahdi lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS SHETTAR DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Shettar has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Mahdi advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Mahdi clinches his opponent.  Mahdi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mahdi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS SHETTAR TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Shettar cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Mahdi!
