Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Lonueuil, Canada:

The Lonueuil venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jamie Saunderson (20 - 14) who hails from Regina, Canada and William Arbuckle(2 - 10(1)) from Calgary, Canada.

Arbuckle gets on the inside.  Arbuckle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Arbuckle drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Saunderson clinches his opponent.  Saunderson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saunderson steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Saunderson connects with a stinging cross.  
Saunderson lands a sharp jab.  
Arbuckle is looking to close the distance and forces Saunderson to retreat onto the ropes.  Arbuckle throws a right hook, but Saunderson clinches his opponent.  Saunderson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Arbuckle advances into close range.  Saunderson voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Arbuckle is whaling away with hooks, but Saunderson keeps his defence tight.
