The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Wardlaw (45(7) - 4) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Kiki Monteagudo(4 - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  

Round 1: 

Wardlaw lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Monteagudo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Monteagudo finds the target with a jab.  Monteagudo attempts to land a cross, but Wardlaw sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Wardlaw throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Wardlaw advances into close range and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Monteagudo lands a left hook.  
Wardlaw gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  Wardlaw ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Monteagudo pushes his forearm into Wardlaw's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
