Darryl Flanagan vs Lucas Adell

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/11/2037 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Darryl Flanagan (53(5) - 9) who hails from New York City, USA and Lucas Adell(1 - 7(1)) from Columbus, USA.  

Round 1: 

Flanagan steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Adell lands a left hook.  
Flanagan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Adell throws a right hook, but Flanagan holds on to his opponent.  Flanagan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Adell behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Flanagan manages to force Adell into a corner.  Adell throws a left hook, but Flanagan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Adell pushes his forearm into Flanagan's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Adell throws a left uppercut, but Flanagan ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Flanagan pushes his forearm into Adell's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Flanagan about fouling.  
Flanagan lands a right uppercut.  
Flanagan closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Flanagan drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Flanagan digs in a right hook to Adell's body.  
Flanagan gets on the inside.  Adell connects with a left hook.  
Flanagan lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Adell drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Flanagan clinches his opponent.  Flanagan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Flanagan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Adell's kidney. Adell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Adell and breaks the clinch.  
Adell pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Adell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Flanagan digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Flanagan steps inside and is on target with a firm left hook to Adell's liver.  Flanagan holds on to his opponent.  Adell leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Flanagan hits home with a right hook.

Flanagan closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING ADELL DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Flanagan ties up his opponent.  Adell is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Adell quickly recovers.

Adell is on target with a sharp left uppercut.
