Michael Nichol vs Chang-woo Im

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/11/2037 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michael Nichol (34 - 3) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Chang-woo Im(5 - 25) from Daegu, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Im sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Nichol lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Nichol closes the distance.  Nichol sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Im attempts to land a right uppercut, but Nichol slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Im throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Nichol gets on the inside and drives a stinging left uppercut into Im's ribs.

Nichol lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Im walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Im feints a left, and then tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nichol feints a right hook, and then lands with a solid jab.  
Im gets on the inside.  Nichol is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Nichol feints a left, and then lands a cross.  
Im is looking to close the distance and manages to force Nichol into the corner.  Nichol digs in a left hook to his opponents body.
