Leonel Sa vs Daichi Takagi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/10/2037 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leonel Sa (8 - 10) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Daichi Takagi(1 - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.

Takagi tries to land a jab, but Sa blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Sa steps away from his opponent and tries to land an overhand right, but Takagi blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sa hits home with a right hook.  
Sa is on target with a jab.  
Takagi drives a left hook into Sa's ribs.  
Takagi closes the distance and forces Sa to retreat into a corner.  Takagi hits home with a left hook.

Takagi steps inside and walks Sa into a neutral corner.  Takagi attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Sa's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Sa steps to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.  
Sa tries to land a cross, but Takagi slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Takagi throws a left hook, but Sa ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sa pushes his forearm into Takagi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sa.  
Sa hits home with a right hook.  
Sa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Sa is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Takagi lands a cross.
