Roger Laird vs Nicholas Lochridge

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/10/2037 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roger Laird (22 - 9) who hails from Laval, Canada and Nicholas Lochridge(0 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Laird is on target with a firm overhand right.

Lochridge pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Lochridge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lochridge throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lochridge tries to keep the action at long range.  Laird lands a sharp cross.  
Lochridge closes the distance.  Laird is on target with a right hook to Lochridge's ribcage.  
Lochridge gets on the inside.  Lochridge pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Laird is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a solid jab.  
Lochridge gets on the inside.  Lochridge sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Laird switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.
