Peter Elijah vs Chris Paletta

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/10/2037 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Elijah (36(4) - 21) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Chris Paletta(0 - 5) from Spokane, USA.  

Round 1: 

Elijah steps inside.  Paletta is on target with a right hook.  
Elijah is on target with a sharp cross.  
Paletta quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Paletta tries to land a cross, but Elijah slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Elijah advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Elijah lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Elijah is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Paletta attempts to land a right hook, but Elijah blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Elijah lands with a stiff jab.  
Elijah steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Paletta is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Elijah lands a sharp jab.  
Elijah hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Elijah digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Paletta throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Elijah attempts to land a left hook, but Paletta sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Elijah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Elijah drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Elijah advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Elijah pivots to the right of his opponent.  Elijah lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Elijah ties up his opponent.  Elijah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Elijah to stop fouling.

Paletta steps to the outside.  Elijah lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Paletta pivots from in front of his opponent, but Elijah drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Elijah steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Elijah walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Elijah is on target with a firm left hook to Paletta's body.  
Elijah gets on the inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Elijah steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  Elijah ties up his opponent.  Paletta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Elijah lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Elijah clinches his opponent.  Paletta tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Elijah's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Elijah connects with a left uppercut.  
Elijah lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Paletta tries to keep the action at long range.  Elijah lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Paletta pivots from in front of his opponent, but Elijah lands a cross.  
Elijah is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Elijah lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Elijah closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Paletta quickly recovers. 
Elijah lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Paletta recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Elijah forces Paletta to retreat into the red corner.  Paletta connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Paletta's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Elijah steps inside and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  Elijah ties up his opponent.  Elijah leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Elijah is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Elijah closes the distance and hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Elijah connects with a firm right hook.  
Elijah snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Elijah steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Elijah lands with a spiteful jab.  
Elijah gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Elijah clinches his opponent.  Elijah is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Elijah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Paletta behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Paletta could be stopped here, if Elijah can find the right shot!  Elijah lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING PALETTA TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Elijah!
