Roman Veras vs Alec Munsayac

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/10/2037 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roman Veras (28 - 7) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Alec Munsayac(0 - 2) from San Jose del Monte, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Veras is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left.

Munsayac advances into close range.  Munsayac pivots to the left of his opponent.  Munsayac throws a right hook, but Veras holds on to his opponent.  Veras is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Veras and breaks the clinch.  
Veras is looking to close the distance.  Munsayac connects with a right hook.  Veras clinches his opponent.  Veras leans on his opponent using all his weight. Munsayac pushes his forearm into Veras's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Munsayac to stop fouling.

Munsayac gets on the inside and manouvers Veras onto the ropes.  Veras digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Veras clinches his opponent.  Munsayac uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Veras behind the head.
